The Domestic Relations Association of Pennsylvania's

Robert S. Stewart Award

The Stewart award was established in 1976 and is presented to the person who exemplifies the ideas established by Robert S. Stewart in the pursuit of collecting support for children of Pennsylvania.

This award is the highest given by the Domestic Relations Association of Pennsylvania to those persons whose achievements have won the admiration and respect of child support workers throughout Pennsylvania.

Some Background on Mr. Stewart:

First Pennsylvania Title IV-D Director.
Previously worked with PA's Public Welfare Reimbursement and Restitution program.
Friends with Gloria Thomas (1978 award) and Tony Vocci (1986 award) (who are otherwise known as the grandmother and grandfather of DRAP).
Dan Fascione (1979 award) remembers some of the first Pennsylvania IV-D meeting with Bob Stewart in the basement of the Department of Education building in 1975. How ironic that IV-D started in the basement just like many county DRS offices and has grown to an outstanding service provider continually exceeding expectations.
